There is a divine pattern to everything each of us experience. Even if we can't see it, and most of us can't, there is a bigger picture that's being created as a result of each of our experiences.
Our lifetimes are a fleeting moment when compared against the infinite age of source energy. Our lifetimes are also one of a kind that will ever exist during the infinite age of source energy.
We are but a small part of a very large consciousness that has manifested in this physical form to live out a tiny section of the larger purpose.
That makes us, our lives, significant and insignificant all at the same time.
So in the grand scheme of things, we aren't meant to have everything.
We are, however, meant to have everything that serves the purpose of our current life.
The second sentence is a more complete and spiritually aligned version that captures the essence of the wisdom.
Let's expand on that a bit.
Everyone has seen some version of the affirmation; 'I can have everything I desire / dream of.'
It leans towards a sense that everything is accessible, it's within reach, it's ALL up for grabs. And although there is some truth to that way of thinking, it is not complete.
First of all, the part that's worth contemplating is our understanding of the word, 'everything'.
When we define 'everything' as ALL manifestations possible, there is a real danger of us going off-track.
Second, what we really want to attract into our lives should serve our life's work.
So yes, we CAN have everything but everything that's in alignment with our soul's purpose.
If we miss internalizing this crucial part, we run the risk of chasing manifestations and creations that are out of alignment. We risk spending time being frustrated and being miserable at our inability to 'get what we want'. We risk spending months or even years working without joy and ease and passion and feel like we haven't achieved anything in life.
Getting in alignment does not guarantee that everything that exists comes to you at your beck and call.
Getting in alignment guarantees ease and joy and opportunities to create a life that's in line with your purpose.
And although these might seem like the same thing on the surface, they are not. The former is an uphill struggle, the latter is not. And the main difference is that the latter is purpose-driven.
Now that we know, Happy Manifesting Everyone!
1. Up the Listening Skills:
You'd think this is not linked to Receiving skills and the woo-woo inner journey I talk so much of. But this is SO at the top of the list of becoming a conscious creator.
We are surrounded constantly by chatter, either in our heads or as conversations with others. Hidden within the mind chatter can be guidance or gentle nudges by our higher self. And through our external interactions, opportunities are being offered that help our journey of getting what we want.
Either way, there is actually a constant flow of offerings that flow to us.
But for the most part, we only hear the sound and have become numb to what's being said. We hear with very strong preconceptions of what we think will be said or we hear long enough to reply with a preset response.
Listening is an active action that requires concentration of our brain to process each word and sentence.
If we begin to listen, we will open up the flood gates to receive what the universe is delivering through others.
It could be a free coffee or an appreciation or an offer to collect data on your behalf or to house sit your dog...
How many times has someone repeated their offer of assistance or appreciation or compliment because you just didn't listen to it the first time? I bet it's a few times and who knows how many more will go unaccounted...
When we start to listen to what's being said we start to take advantage of the universe offering its solution.
2. Be Present:
This practice follows closely on the heels of the Listening Skills.
Being Present is the practice of staying intensely aware of your surrounding and your reality right now.
The Present moment is a huge space and where multiple things happen constantly. We don't have the capacity to take it all in. Now, couple that with the nature of the distracted mind.
We either spend time rehashing the past or we spend our time making up situations about the future that may or make not happen. And though these serve a purpose, its use is limited.
The magic of manifestation is happening in the NOW. It's unfolding around us ALL the time.
By not being in the moment we fail to experience the most authentic, real part of ourselves. Plus we continue to wait on manifestations that come and go right in front of us.
3. Stop Self Depreciation:
We might think we have this under control but the true test of it all is at the time of Receiving our manifestations.
Self Depreciation is when we undervalue or are overly critical of ourselves.
This is an ingrained habit that most of us do without realizing how often we self-depreciate. The reason we are so naturally inclined to belittle ourselves is that most of us confuse this as being modest.
Modesty is a virtue, no doubt. But self-depreciation is the opposite of being modest.
Self-depreciation is when we are extremely critical of every aspect of ourselves, or anything remotely connected to us. It's when we belittle our skill, talent, and contribution either to fit in or to be liked.
Whatever the reason, it ends up with us lowering our worth not only for the people who hear it but also in our own minds. We eventually internalize this lie till it becomes our truth.
If we self-depreciate every time the universe delivers our manifestation, what energy are we creating for the next manifestation?
How we react, what we say, how we feel when our intended manifestation is showing up speaks volumes about our receiving skills. It also speaks volumes about the energy and the speed of delivery for the next manifestation.
