Do you carry a positive TAG about yourself?

A Self TAG is a characteristic or quality that you believe is true about yourself and as a result use it often in your conversations.
  • I am FAT
  • I am a ROMANTIC
  • I have TERRIBLE genes
  • I DON'T have a business sense
  • I am BAD with MONEY
  • I have a BEAUTIFUL smile
  • I am GOOD at diplomacy
The list can go on. As you read that list, you obviously know the point I am trying to make!

Self Tags may or may not true to begin with. However, repeated use of these Tags will cause you to see evidence of it, that's how Deliberate Creation works!

Pretty soon you become the TAG that YOU have set for yourself. The truth is that we don't realize that we have brought it into our reality and then we say, " See! I told you! This is me! I can't help it."

I remember earlier when my now husband used to compliment me on how good I looked, my immediate response would be; " Are you nuts?! I have flabby thighs and I don't have a flat stomach. And I don't have upper body strength"

For a long time, that's what I believed and that's what I saw when I looked in the mirror. And the more I looked for it, the more I saw and started to become ALL that - flabby thighs, round stomach and no upper body strength!

When I accepted and changed my Self TAG to ' I am beautiful, strong and prefect', I started to focus on things I could do. My focus - I work out 5 times a week, 30 SETS of Suryanamaskars before the 30 min workout, I take personal training... I am in better shape then I have ever being! And I can do 10 push ups!

We need to remember that we are prefect and unique. All the skills, abilities  characteristics that you have are meant to be. YOU ARE NOT LACKING IN ANYTHING.

What are some of the TAGS you use for yourself? Ask yourself are they self serving? Are they positive? Do they make you happy?

Keep TAGS, yes, keep POSITIVE ones. When you look at others, look for good things that you both share.

Leave a Self Tag you use BELOW or on FACEBOOK, maybe yours is something we all can use.

Suggestion...sometimes we don't know the things we often repeat. It may be a good exercise to ask others we trust for the common tags they hear us say.

I think that is fabulous idea! Asking the right people, who really know you and care for you, to let you know what Tags you often use!

Just to make this a little more complex, sometimes people make self-tags based on what they think another person wants or expects of them. For example, a person could be a great planner, but if their partner poo-poos and discredits their ideas, then this person may create a negative self-tag about their ability to create steps to accomplishing a goal.

The true self tag of being a great planner and easily knowing the best route to a goal can get covered up. When the veil is removed, watch out! This person steps into her power and things flow for her!

I keep adding to my list of positive self tags. A couple of my favorites: I am a powerful creator. I know what I want.

Elaine, you are so right! Its amazing how we give up our power so easily and can doubt what we have known for a long time. It generally happens with people that are closest to us , so called experts. More reason for us to stay centered!
