Role of Self Love in our lives.

The month of October, I'll be focusing on the topic of Self Love.

Answer this - On the Self Worth / Love scale of 1-10, where would you rate yourself?

As a Delibrate Creator and reading many books on the Law Of Attraction, I know that in need to stay in the vortex to manifest my desires and goals. And I know that how I feel at any given momement or about a topic is a good indicator
whether I am in or out of the vortex. This is a simple enough explaination for me to follow.

I realised that the way I feel is dictated by what I think of myself. My Self Esteem.

Self Esteem is a term used to reflect a person's evaluation of thier own worth.

This seemed to me a bit daunting because the answer to that is not black  or white for me. I confess that I waver in my answers. For a long time I stood at a middle ground between high self esteem and having a low one.

My family and friends from the boarding school, of course, had a huge impact on me. Like most of us, I was bought up to believe certain seterotypes - women need to be understanding and get used to sacrifice, they need to be married and have kids, there are limits to the dreams we dream, the family had limited funds, compared to others I am short, stout and dark which is not the ideal.

I grew up with so many limiting beliefs that did not serve me well. To name a few - I was always concious of my looks,I always needed to please others, I felt money was scarce, I lived with a very skwed body image and I was always overly critical of myself, my skills and talents.

It took most of my twenties to figure out that none of these are true.I didnt have to live a limited existence and that there are more ways than one to be successful in life.

This is not a sad story by any means and I am fully aware of more serious hardships that kids go through. But beliefs have have a huge impact on children and shape them in to adults and thats why this topic is very important to me.

This month at Everydayloamagic, we are dedicating to Self Love. Ask yourself these questions:

1) How much of yourself do you love? What according to you would you change?
2) What statements to do you use for yourself when you succeed and when you fall short?
3) When you look in the mirror, what do you see? How do you feel about it?
4) Do you believe that you deserve a great life? Do you consider yourself worthy?

Be honest in your response. The answers to these questions might take you by surprise, it might help you identify areas which you need to be concious.

YOU ARE WHAT YOU BELIEVE YOU ARE.

Changing your limiting beliefs and loving everything about you and your environment is the journey back into the vortex.Change your self talk as well as your focus.

What are you going to think different? I would love to know your experience in dealing with Limiting Beliefs.

Cheers to us, the prefect creation of a limitless and loving Universe!
