21st Dec, Wednesday: Winter Solstice for the Northern Hemisphere.
Winter Solstice is when the Earth's tilt is the farthest from the Sun. As a result, we experience the longest night and the shortest daylight. Spiritually it is the rebirth of the Sun. Because from that day onwards, the Sun will be available to us for longer and longer periods of time (till we reach Summer Solstice and the cycle repeats). Life in nature slowly but surely grows, rejuvenates and comes to full blossom (which is summer). What does it have to do with us? Should I care? We are a part of this cycle; we feel the pull and push of such changes. As we approach Winter Solstice, it is natural for masses to feel stress, confused or stagnant. Spiritually, during this time, we are to take the time to connect and realign ourselves. How well we realign, how well we center ourselves will be the seed we plant for the upturn cycle that begins (for the northern hemisphere). So tomorrow, when it is the darkest and the shortest day of the year, plan a ritual for yourself. This is not about rushing to take action; it's all about relaxing and getting into a good space in your head.
Winter Solstice is a spiritual dance from darkness to light. Won't you partake? I'll be doing all of the above tomorrow. And interestingly, tomorrow in the Life & Inner Transformations group, we will be detailing nine reasons why someone fails to progress in thier task or goal. This is in relation to Yoga Sutras. But still, how cool is it that?! That the discussion of the topic fell on a solstice! In my book very cool! Here's wishing you a powerful, clear and intention fueled day tomorrow! We are still LIVE with the 50% on any coaching offer! You might want to get IN on that!
